◆ 전화하기

23. The phone seems to be dead.
(전화가 고장인가 봅니다.)

Tip : 사용하고 있는 전화가 고장인 경우에는 주위에 있는 다른 전화를 이용해야만 할 것이다.

Model Dialog

A: Did you make a call?
B: No. The phone seems to be dead. I tried several
    times, but I can't get a dial tone.
A: Why don't you try the pay phone out of that
    door?
B: That's an idea! Have you got some small
    change?
A: Yes, I have some coins. Here you are.

A: 전화하셨어요?
B: 아니오. 전화가 고장인 것 같아요. 몇 차례 걸어 봤지만
신호음이 들리질 않아요.
A: 저 문 밖에 있는 공중 전화를 써 보시죠.
B: 그러면 되겠군요! 잔돈 가지고 있는게 있습니까?
