4. I'll put you through.
(전화를 연결해 드리죠.)

Tip : 특히 회사나 관공서 등에 전화해서 사람을 찾는 경우에 흔히 듣게 되는 표현들이다. "당신이 통화할 수 있도록 연결해 주겠다."는 의미이다.

Model Dialog

A: Hello. This is Mrs. Donovan. Is my husband
    there?
B: Hi, Mrs. Donovan! I'll put you through.
    Please hold on.
    (Through the intercom)
B: Mr. Donovan? Your wife's on the phone.
C: Thanks. I'll get it.

A: 여보세요. 도노반 부인인데요. 제 남편 자리에 있나요?
B: 안녕하세요, 도노반 부인! 바꿔 드리죠. 잠깐만
기다리세요.
(인터콤으로)
B: 도노반 씨세요? 부인한테서 전화 왔는데요.
