상대의 의견 묻기 (2)

Model Dialog :

A: What do you say to inviting Jane to our dinner?
B: That's a good idea. Let me call her to see if it's O.K.
with her.
A: Do you think she likes Chinese food?
B: I don't know. I'll ask her.

A: 저녁 식사에 제인을 초대하면 어떨까요?
B: 그거 좋은 생각이에요. 내가 그녀한테 전화해서 괜찮은지 알아 보죠.
A: 그녀가 중국 음식을 좋아할까요?
B: 모르겠어요. 그녀에게 물어 볼께요.

Speaking Tip : 「~을 어떻게 생각하십니까?」,「~하면 어떨까요?」하고 상대방의 의견이나 견해를 물을 때에는 What do you say to ~? / What do you think of ~? / How do you like ~? 등의 구문을 사용하면 된다.

- What do you think of cooking spaghetti?
- (스파게티를 요리하는 건 어떻습니까?)
- What do you say to inviting Mary to the party?
- (파티에 메리를 초대하는게 어떨까요?)
- How do you like this red one? (이 빨간 것은 어떻습니까?)

Dialog Practice 1 :

A: What did you think of Tokyo?
B: Exciting, but not very attractive. It's probably the most
expensive city in the world. And it's very crowded, of
course.

A: 도쿄는 어땠어요?
B: 흥미로웠지만, 그다지 매력적이진 않았어요. 아마 세상에서 가장
물가가 비싼 도시인 것 같아요. 그리고, 물론 복잡하기도 하고요.

Dialog Practice 2 :

A: And did you like Japanese food?
B: Yes, I did. But I didn't like Sushi. By the way, have you
ever been to Japan?
A: Not yet, but I'm going in the fall.

A: 그런데 일본 음식은 좋았습니까?
B: 네, 좋았어요. 하지만 스시는 좋지 않았어요. 그런데, 일본에 가 보신
적이 있으세요?
A: 아직 못 가봤어요. 하지만 가을에 갈 겁니다.
