Model Dialog :

A: Do you like this style? It's very popular.
B: Yes, that's exactly what I wanted. I wonder if you have
this shoe in my size.
A: I think we probably do. Why don't you sit down over
here?

A: 이 스타일이 마음에 드십니까? 아주 인기가 좋은 것입니다.
B: 네, 바로 제가 원했던 것이에요. 저에게 맞는 사이즈가 있는지
모르겠군요.
A: 있을 겁니다. 여기에 앉으시지요.

Speaking Tip 1 : 손님의 취향이나 구매 의사를 묻는 여러가지 표현을 정리한다.

- Do you like this style? (이런 스타일을 좋아하십니까?)
- How's this yellow one? (이 노란 것은 어떻습니까?)
- How about this teddy bear? (이 곰인형은 어떻습니까?)
- What do you think of these shoes? (이 신발은 어떻습니까?)
- How do you like this one? (이것은 어떻습니까?)

Speaking Tip 2 : 사이즈나 색깔, 무늬, 가격대 등 원하는 상품을 찾는 방법을 익힌다.

- I'm looking for a shirt in my size. (제 치수에 맞는 셔츠를 찾고
- 있습니다.)
- Show me another. (다른 것을 보여 주세요.)
- Don't you have a larger one? (더 큰 것은 없나요?)
- Don't you have any cheaper one? (더 싼 것은 없나요?)
- Do you have this one in other colors? (다를 색깔로 이런 것이
- 있나요?)

Dialog Practice 1 :

A: I also want a blouse to go with it.
B: All our blouses are on the rack near the wall. You can
look there to see if there's something you like.
A: All right. Thanks for your help.

A: 이것과 어울리는 블라우스도 원합니다.
B: 블라우스는 모두 벽 가까이에 있는 랙크에 걸려 있습니다. 마음에
드는 것이 있는지 그곳에서 찾아 보세요.
A: 알겠습니다, 도와 주어서 감사합니다.

Dialog Practice 2 :

A: And I also need a tie that matches this shirt.
B: Why don't you look through the ties on this rack?
A: What I have in mind is something in a dark blue.
B: Here's an Ivy League in dark blue stripes.

A: 그리고 이 셔츠와 어울리는 넥타이도 하나 필요합니다.
B: 여기 랙크에 걸린 넥타이 중에서 찾아 보시죠.
A: 짙은 청색의 것을 생각하고 있는데요.
